This organization is staked out so the go-quake{1,2,3}
family naming holds together. The Q2 port has not started; watch
go-quake1 for the active engine work. Q2 will
pick up the same hand-port-from-reference pattern once Q1 reaches the playable bar — the
planned upstream is yquake2, the maintained
GPL-2.0 fork of the 1997 id Software release.
Repositories
Logos, favicons, social previews
Brand assets — SVG / PNG / JPG / ICO / ICNS in color, white-transparent and black-transparent variants. Staked out so the go-quake1 / 2 / 3 family is visually coherent the day the Q2 port starts.
When work begins, every module will be pure Go with
CGO_ENABLED=0, held at 100% statement coverage as a CI gate. Every Go file will
trace 1:1 to a reference/ yquake2 C function under a pinned upstream commit.
The 4-gate provable-test protocol carries forward from
godoom and
go-quake1. BSD-3 wrapper + GPL-2 engine carve-out
throughout.
